Be brave little one.
Make a wish for each sad little tear.
Hold your head up though no one is near
Someone's waiting for you.
Don't cry little one.
There'll be a smile where a frown use to be
You'll be part of the love that you see.
Someone's waiting for you.
Always keep a little prayer in your pocket
and you're sure to see the light.
Soon there'll be joy and happiness
and your little world will be bright
Have faith little one
'Til your hopes and your wishes come true.
You must try to be brave little one.
Someone's waiting to love you

loan
So we got an email about the loan we applied for and here it is short and sweet. of course they added a huge amount of niceness to it trying to make it sound not so bad but this is all I could read. "We do not have the resources to provide financial assistance for every family who applies. We sincerely regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you any financial assistance for your adoption."
I don't know what we are going to do about the money we still need, all I can say is it's in Gods hands.
we need around $3,000 for our first trip and will need around $15,000 for our 2nd and not sure about the 3rd. So far we have had just what we needed when we needed it so I will trust for the same for the rest.

6 MONTHS
6 months today 1/2 a year wow ! so we are pretty close to getting to hold our baby and I pray that before I write the 7 month post we will have a bunch more pictures and stories to tell about him. 6 months can seem long at times but other times it seems so short, right now I'm back and forth on that because for one thing to tell you the truth I just cant believe we are done with all that stuff! homestudy and dossiers. I look back and it feels like it wasn't even us doing all that stuff,it amazes me that we did it all and have it all done and that our next step is to get on a flight to go see our boy . Then I think about how much kids grow in 6 months and I just wish we could have one new picture of him so we could see how big he is, if his hair has grown out. And an update on if he's walking, talking so on.As a mom you want to be there for all of their millstones. It's hard to think of everything he has probably learned or how far he has come in 6 months that I have missed. I know that I will see him not to long from now so that helps. So here is to 1/2 a year !!! let the next 1/2 be full of blessings!!!! We are still short $3,400 for our first trip if you can help us please do we hate hate asking for anything let alone money so this is a hard thing for us to ask but if you had been planning to donate now would be a great time. Thank you to all of you who read this blog all the prayers and support.

Doll show and people God put in our path
Doll show today we did ok sold a few dolls and made $285 and we had fun. we met so many people that were also adopting or had adopted. It was fun to get to talk to people and I know that God put them in our path for a reason, a really great reason. The first lady I met said she was adopting thru foster care and when I said Reece's Rainbow she said she knew of Reece's Rainbow, it just felt like this really neat connection between us, I know that at some point God will put her back in my life. she bought a doll and actually paid $25 more for it as a donation for Josiah how cool is that. Then another lady we met, she had a really sweet baby on her back in a pack and he was falling asleep, he had glasses on and I asked her about the glasses because I'm thinking Josiah will probably have to have them. It ended up her baby 2 years old has down syndrome she adopted him in the US, but she knew all about Reece's Rainbow and said she thinks she has read Josiah's blog. She said she would get me all the contact info for the play and support groups in our area. It was so neat to talk to her and get to see her sweet little boy who may one day be Josiah's playmate. At the end of the show a lady came and bought a doll from me and she said it was so strange because she had just finished reading a book about a family adopting a boy from the same country Josiah is from. she was a sweet lady that had the best wishes for us. The lady across from us adopted her three children years ago and the lady down from us was adopted herself, there were story after story people would tell me about their adoption, or so in so they know having down syndrome, or about Josiah's country. So even though we didn't make much money it was a really neat day. Even if we just did it to meet the people we met it was so worth it. It really felt good to talk about Josiah out loud and not just thru my lap top.

A three week setback
A three week setback we were just told that the person that gives the dates to come meet the committee and Josiah is on vacation. The lady filling in for her does not feel comfortable in giving us a date due to the fact that we already have six kids. The fact that we have six kids has not come up before as far as a bad thing so I'm not sure why this lady felt this way. but what this means for us is that we have to wait to get our date until the other lady gets back from vacation on Sept 21st. so instead of us getting our date tomorrow like he had thought it will not be for three weeks. I am taking this all pretty well, maybe this is a blessing we can't see right now, giving us more time to raise the money we need. But we really did want him home with us by the end of the year.It is all Gods time so we will just sit back for the ride. please if you can donate to help bring him home we do still need it we still have not gotten word about the loans.

Court Dossier
Our court Dossier was sent to be apistilled. We got it back Tuesday and we mailed it to our agency. They will look it over and if all is good they will send it to our facilitator in Josiah's country. She will translate it and if its all good she will submit it to the judge, after we get home from our first trip. The judge will then send us a court date. Please pray that everything is good and no changes need to be made with our Dossier. And that nothing else needs to be added. I will tell you it sure does feel good to have it all done!!!
Please also pray that we get granted one of the adoption loans we applied for. As of now looks like we will be short $3000 for our first trip or maybe we can say our flights. If anyone out there wants to help us out by paying for our flights please let me know. Or if anyone is willing to put it on their credit card for us to pay back that would also be great. Thank you for all your prayers.
