THANK YOU!
We just want to say Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
For all the prayers, for all the love, for all the donations! We had $10,224 donated for our adoption just since December! Now how wonderful is that!!!! THANK YOU!
So I feel a little bad asking for more, but we need to bring our baby home so I have to ask. We need $4000 to be fully funded. $4000 sounds like nothing when you compare it to the over $10,000 we have already gotten but it is still a big amount that we don't have. Also I want to make sure you all know we are not only relying on donations. 1/2 of my weekly pay goes directly into the jar for our adoption, not to mention the few thousand we already spent before our first trip. So we are in this together we are not just asking for everyone else to fund our adoption. Yet we can't do it by our selves. I wish we could then I wouldn't have to beg you for money lol but then you wouldn't get the blessing you will receive from opening up your heart for this little boy and for us and you will receive blessings.
We want to make sure that all of you know how grateful we are.Lets keep it up lets get him home!

Doll show
My girls and I have a table at the doll show tomorrow. I am selling the rest of my doll collection to earn money to go for our adoption. Some I made and others I just collected. We did this in the fall too and raised some but this time I want to raise a bunch! so please pray we have great success.

Andrea from Reece's Rainbow just emailed me to tell me how much we have in our family sponcership page on Reece's Rainbow and listed is $2,500 from anonymous wow!!!!
The lord just keeps showing me every why I turn that we are doing just what he asked us to do that bringing this little boy home is his will and that he is with us every step of the way even in the tuff times!! Thank you Lord and thank you anonymous who ever you are.

COURT DATE!!!!!!
FOUND THIS EMAIL IN MY IN BOX THIS MORNING!!!!!!!
The NINE family:
The court hearing is appointed for March 01, 2011.
Mike and Katrina have to arrive on February 24.
On February 25, 2011 they will have the physical exam. We will need to
be at hospital by 8 a.m.
The judge has requested the medical form to be submitted 2 business days prior
to the court.
The family can leave on March 02, 2011.

Tomorrow our coordinator in EE meets with the judge. Please pray that she will give us and our friends the Fillmores our court dates. They are 11 hrs ahead of us there so the meeting will take place while we are sleeping tonight.

WOW! we are only $310 away from what we need for our next trip (the court trip). Quick Update
Tuesday, our coordinator got a call from the Judge's assistant and she said that, rather than meeting with her (the assistant) on Wednesday, the judge would like to meet with her in person next Monday (our Sunday night) to review our cases (us and the Nine's.)
I'm not sure if we should be nervous, or what. We are the "pioneers" of the special needs program in which our agency is partnering with Reece's Rainbow, in this region. We're the first two families to come through who are adopting kids with DS in a while, I think. There are a bunch coming soon, but we are the first. And we both have larger families than they are used to. So I think the judge is being a bit more thorough than usual.
I e-mailed our coordinator and asked if this was unusual, and her reply was,
"Hope the judge wants to see me because she needs to hear on the documents (the ones that she asked for last week) and choose the court date upon the information received and accordingly to her schedule."
Hope so, too.
